Stree 2 post credits scene: Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao film reveals identity of ‘sarkata bhoot,’ confirms arrival of a ‘legend’ in horror universe.

Stree 2 centres on Rajkummar Rao's Vicky and his friends as they battle to save their town, Chanderi, from a headless ghost known as Sarkata. Stree 2's post credits scene hides a big surprise. Spoiler alert ahead.
Akki returns in post credit scene and became a bad guy. He will return for next movie as big bad villian.

After a six-year wait, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao finally returned to the big screen with the sequel Stree 2 on Independence Day. The film has created a box office frenzy, earning Rs 23.3 crore in advance bookings. As fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to rave about the Rajkummar-starrer, they also shared exciting details about the film’s cameos, which hint at the future of the Maddock Supernatural Universe.

Coincidentally, Stree 2 clashes with Akshay Kumar’s Independence Day release, Khel Khel Mein. Starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Vaani Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal and Aditya Seal in the lead, the film marks Akshay’s return to the comedy genre after a long break. The film is a remake of the Italian movie, Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers). He also has films such as Welcome to the Jungle and Jolly LLB 3, both inclined heavily towards comedy, in the pipeline.
